What kind of logo is on this IC ?

Strange logo...

Hi, Does anyone recognize this logo, I have looked for it in the logo archive on this site but without success! I have a component that I need to find a replacement for in a project. I just need to know what mfg this is.

What is the component? Does it have any identifying numbers on it?

Logos sometimes get changed as companies get bought and sold, but component ID's usually contain some series of numbers that can be traced.

I don't recognize the logo, but it is similar to Davicon or Advanced Linear - there may be some old relationship.
