Open Source Hardware

Hi all,
can anyone explain me what is "Open Source Hardware" in simple terms.

Open Source Hardware

i don't know

Open Source Hardware

some organizations like openores?

Re: Open Source Hardware

Opensource hardware means the HDL code written using Verilog/VHDL normally. Although it might have very well been written using SystemC, Verilog-AMS etc.
