hi,
As a starting point I feel Johns and Martins book is a good choice.
For pipeline ADC I suggest phd thesis by Stephen Lewis
For sigma delta ADC "understanding delta-sigma converters" by Schreier & Temes is good for beginners

Mikko Waltari thesis has a very good chapter on sampling network, which is useful for pipeline/sigma-delta/SAR ADC

regards,
amit

~~~~~~~~~~~~~can you tell me where i can download his thesis?Thx.
Hello I'm very interseted to get the Stephen lewis 's Thesis on pipeline ADC .May you upload it or tell us where we can find it ,pls ?
adding one more....
www.analog.com.....
site of ADI.....
u will find a book on data conversion by kester....one handbook...
specially for high speed...demler.....although I have not read it...the name is so...
Ken & Martin Book is very good for ADC design.
you can search for various thesis on ADC/DAC on google.it will provide you enough study material to start designing the same.
hi, i remember that you do PLL, now the adc??
now i am interesting in sigma_delta ADC too, give me some advice ,
do you still remember me ?/
quote="khouly"]i want to know a good book , to learn the design of high speed ADC
thanks
how about the future of the adc designer?
now , the hot topic is RF.
Hi benever,
For Delta-Sigma ADC Sherier book is the best.
**broken link removed**
Also these two papers are good to begin:
for sigma-delta adc,c-mos mixed signal circuit design by jacob baker,
oversampling data convertetrs by schrier and g.c.temes are good books
eric berkely 's book manual is very useful to engineer.
You can use Jake baker CMOS circuit design layout and simulation chapters 26-28 for ADC DAC topologies and CMOS Mixed signal circuit design for Implementations.
For beginers best book is Data Converters by FRANCO MALOBERTI
I like Razavi's adc book.
"Data conversion system design"
I think Ken Martin's book provides the basic knowledge of ADC
I think the book of G.C.Temes "Understanding delta-sigma data converters" i smost suitable for beginners .
B. Razavi, Principles of Data Conversion System Design
This maybe useful..
Any good textbook or resources for learning sigma-delta data converters?
