I recently came to know about gate level netlist files which are also bit blasted... now does anyone know what is the difference between normal netlist and bit blasted netlist??

Normal:
wire [7:0] foo;
input [7:0] foo2;

Bit blasted:
wire foo_1_, foo_2_, foo_3_, etc...
input foo2_1_, foo2_2_, etc...
