Virtuoso descend hierarchy prompting

Hi,

I m newbee in virtuoso......... I gets frustated in descending down and up the hierarchy bcoz every time it PROMPTS me for before descending.....

I have heard that there is some way to disable prompting..... i.e just by pressing 'e' i can descend in the hierarchy...........

in short I WANT TO GET RID OF THIS DIALOG BOX SHOWN BELOW......

If you have multiple cellviews then you would either need
to tell it which one (see the chooser sub-pulldown there)
or you would have to make the bindkey make that choise
embedded in the command. I know in my layout editor
the switch / push view defaults to layout but in schematic
there are too many possibilities of interest.

I would bet that the descend command could be given a
cellview argument.

Try descending into a couple of different viewtypes, and
have a look at your CDS.log file where all actions are
recorded; you should find syntax there, which you can
put in your custom bindkey file (like shift-E will be descend
into symbol while lower-E is descend into schematic and
ctrl-E into layout, or whatever).

Thanxs but could you please tell me how to set bind key for this command exactly.......

i know how to set bind keys for single command but i dont know how to embedd cell view in to bind keys.........jplease tell me what shold i write ???
