The USBN9604 might be a tough to find and near impossible to solder yourself part.

USBPROG is a nice tool. Works fine, even under Vista. I am using it for emulate AVRISP MKII.

The USBN9603 has a package version that can be soldered without special tools.

My home made version is at the picture below.
