Hello.
I want to make an USB solar charger for my blackberry.
I don't want to buy a solar charger, I want to make it myself.
I bought 4 Polycrystalline photovoltaic cells with specifications:
Average Power (Watts): 1.8 W
Average current (amps): 3.6 A
Medium voltage (volts): 0.5 V
Dimensions: 3 1/4 inch x 6 inch (80mm x 150mm)
The original charger has output: 5V-1A.
I found some tutorials how to do this, but I don't want to use rechargeable batteries.
I think that is more easy do make a solar charger without rechargeable batteries.
Do you think that my solar cells are good for my project? I must use rechargeable batteries?
I am very newbie in this area, so any advice is valuable.
Thank you.
