Hi all,
Ive got a 6wire unipolar stepper motor.
Infor..

STEP 7.5
(Tokyo Electric,CO.,LTD,JAPAN)

It has six wires.reds-2,yelow,orange,brown&black.
can any one tell me which wires should connect to power..?
Thank u

vire motor

If you can't get its datasheet, you may just use an ohmeter to find them. The motor has two separate windings each having three wires. You should be able to identify the two coils with the ohmeter (each three wires of the same coil should give a reading on the ohmmeter, wires from different coils should read open circuit). No you need to identify the center tap, this is easy since the center tap wire reads half of the coil resistance with each of the remaining two wires.
I hope this is clear enough.
