Hello can anyone advise what may be going wrong in my JVC -AV32x47HK TV.
Turn it on & the screen goes bright pink (purple through to pink/red) then shuts down.

The PSU voltages seem OK, B1 is 140v

Any suggestions where I can look?

it sounds to me that some PLL does not work, making the detection for coulor, impossiple....

so my suggestion would be to get a tv-test-picture generator and check all the IC´s that uses PLL and there voltages are correct, proberly start wiht the picture detection circurts ...

I have fixed it.

It was some muck inside the tube, banging the neck as it came on shifted it.

It works now (for now).

Thank you for your reply.
