Tuning/Optimizing a component name

Im trying to simplify tuning/optimising a model that uses several S Parameters for components.
Is it possible to tune/use the optimizer to change the component file of S parameters are located in a folder?

I.e. A component called L1 has file = LData01.s2p.
Is it possible to tune/optimize the file name to say LData12.s2p.

You did not mention which simulation tool you use.
