Could someone please provide me some information regarding white LED properties and characteristics. In particular, the I-V characteristics.

Any help would be appreciated, Thanks.

and some simple circuits to drive them when you have 1.2-1.5V DC source only (well below the needed 3.1-3.3V forward voltage):
