temperature controling based PLC use PID method

i have a project to control a room temperature. i must use PLC and PID algorithm as the methode. in my plan i will use LM35 as sensor and input for the PLC. and heater for the output device. the error temperature will sended as input and feed back for the system. but i have a problem. i dont understand, how to aply PID methode in this system. and how to build the algorithm. the parameter, gain, discretization, etz.
anyone can help me.
