Hello,

I am strugling with a design of synchronous buck converter using Atmega8 timer1 and IR2110.

I am facing problem withlack of dead time.
Some one please help me how we can introduce dead time in Timer1 fast PWM mode

Answer: choose timer1, with 8mhz/1/2, phase correct pwm, with OCR1A interrupt, choose the values ex: OCR1A=100; OCR1B=OCR1A+5; on interrupt vector;

you should maintain band, the dead band should not cross 80%Max on your PWM. if you crass the dead time boot strap capacitor getting discharged.

boot capacitor 100Uf, boot strap diode uf4007. you must maintain two channel with complementary mode OCR1A NON-INVERT, OCR1B INVERT mode. if you don't have a facility on your mcu, select dead time maintained drivers HIP4082 or any series
