hi all,

I wonder that which is the most suitable patch antenna for phased array design : normal rectangle patch antenna, compact antenna (lambda/2 or lambda/4) with shorting post pin to GND,...?

The desired freq. is 80-100 Ghz.

Thank you

for a phased array u need an antenna which has wide beamwidth and bandwidth for scanning over a wide frequency range...so patch will also do provided u get above mentioned parameters
