hi
im a engg. student.could you kindly suggest some student level DSP projects

thanking you

I my self working on a simple project that needs primary DSP knowledge. I think it may fit you. I'm working on a DTMF decoder using a micrcontroller. The microcontroller is aimed to decode the DTMF signals and control some home appliances accordingly. You may find great deal info about the subject here and on the Web.
Good luck

You will be using a DSP or just a micro to decode or process your signals?

If DSP, try to make a DTMF decoder that can decode or filter the DTMF tone from a very noisy signal.
