Do you know if there's any software that could trace the following thing over an image:
- motion vectors
- macroblock partions (h.264)
- image after and before deblocking filter

I'm doing a report about h.264 and mpeg-4 and I need to explain what's happening but i can't use images from other authors.

Or there's any matlab toolbox where I can intercept the intermidium steps of the h.264 or mpeg-4 decoding (or enconding) process?

Re: H.264 and MPEG-4

hi,
there is a tool in moonlight software "streamEye" that shows the macro-block partitions and MVs,
it may be helpful,

Mehdi
