general question

i read a sentence for example like this "size of transistor M2 is twice as that of M1". so if the size of M1 is W=0.7u, L=0.35u , then size of M2 is W=1.4u, L=0.7u or the size of M1 is W=1.4u,L=0.35u?? I still confuse about this

general question

Generally,we think "size of transistor M2 is twice as that of M1", that mean is the "W" is double and the "L" is not change.

(W/L)_2 = 2*(W/L)_1
