i need a simple programmer for the atmel at90s1200 MCU .
i already made one but cann't program the device with ic-prog 105D having this
message "no acknowledge received" , changing to ic-prog 105A programmed the
chip but failed to verify it .
regards ,

Re: avr programmer.

i measured the vcc & found it 3.238 volts , is it enough to complete the process ?
the programmer's schematic is as the image, & i configure it with ic-prog as funcard programmer .
Regards,

avr programmer.

You can use the circuit provide by amr_electron and download the hex file using "PONYPROG" software.

Seadolphine 2000;

I built the simple programmer by amr_electronut above but cannot get PonyProg to

program the AVR2313

Added after 1 hours 12 minutes:

I was able to get ICProg to work using the Fun Programmer settings

I use this, option 2 on this page:

It works good and I use WinAvr or ISProg.

Re: avr programmer.

Hi amr_electron, that programmer which you show in your above picture I use to programming AT90S2313 and it works very good, if you use winXp did you know that you must enable NT/200/XP driver in IC-Prog ? More information you can find here https://www.serasidis.gr/circuits/avrprog/avrprog.htm

Re: avr programmer.

Hi, just one more little thing:

**broken link removed**

select 'Direct io' instead 'Windows api' and then try programming your microcontroller

Re: avr programmer.

amr_electron

I use ICProg Version 1.05D

My settings:

Setting>>hardware: Direct I/O has a check, LPT1; Fun Programmer.

Setting>>Options>>Misc: Enable NT/2000/Xp driver is checked.

Scroll down to the orange part of the link and it will help you configure the driver.
