[sim548/508] Connection circuit check

Hi!

I'm making tracking device on sim548c.
I have a problem with understanding VBAT and VCHG pin destiny.


Please check that i'm thinking correct.
Thers two ways for supply voltage:

1.When i use supply from li-on battery:
*VCHG pin should be connected to the Li-on battery charger.
*VBAT pin should be connected to Li-on battery.

2.When i supply sim548c directly from step-down regulator LM2679, without battery.
*VCHG pin should be connected to..?!?! to where ?!
*VBAT pin should be connected to 5V LM2679

My circuit is power supplied within LM2679, please tell mi what should i do with VCHG pin ??
