How do we mix both USB2.0 and USB3.0 port connections?

Dear all,
Would like quick confirmation of the connection method below. Pretty confused with USB3.0 especially Type-C.

Figure 1 is the our attempt in connecting to a USB3.0 Type C.
Questions - Are there any chips that will combine both the Mux/De-mux and Channel Configuration Logic into a single chip?

Figure 2 is for additional USB2.0 port.
Question - Would the use of the USB2.0 Hub Controller be appropriate?
Is it right for us to assume the use of USB3.0 Hub is unnecessary?

Figure 3 - This would be using a USB3.0 Hub
Question - Can we confirm that the use of the USB3.0 Hub is unnecessary?

Figure 4 - Same configuration as Figure 3. However, we are now having an additional USB3.0 Type-A.
Questions - Is there issue with such connection?

Appreciate if anyone could help out. In addition, assuming we could ensure a line impedance of 90 Ohm for the differential pairs, is there any specification on the maximum length that we could route?

Many thanks.

Presumably your central device is intelligent and negotiates with peripherals so as to determine whether a device can use the more advanced protocol.

Unless you plan to become expert in all USB protocols, then you need to invest in a central device which is equally up-to-date with your peripherals.

Hi Brad, thanks for responding.
Looks like I could not get verification from anyone on the above connections and the corresponding questions.
Would need to search elsewhere. Thanks. again.
