hello, i'm trying to connect 18F4550 pic microcontroller to an IR , i'm using mikroC assembler. the rating are 300 baud rate ,7 data rate, 1 stop bit and even parity . when I test the code on the kit , the LEDs of RC6 and RC7 turn on , but on the breadboard when I connect with max232 , it wont work.
here is a pic of the circuit I connected.

you want to connect PIC with PC? you can use PICs inbuilt USB module for PC communication, so no need of max232
check value of capacitor you are using with max232, i connect 4 capacitors of 1uF each.

Maybe your circuit and MikroC assembler code will help us in finding problems.
