RISC Processor verification suite or application programs

Hi ALL,

I am searching for verification suites or application programs that i can run on 32-bit RISC under development. I am not interested in any low level tests but high end applications such as encoders decoders or other suites that exercises all stages of a processor densely. i've already ran bench marking suites. if anyone can point me or provide me such a suite, will be highly appreciated.

Can anyone suggest me what kind of high-end applications or suites are used in industry to verify embedded processor.

Try Linux OS or other OS, say PowerPC etc.

Linux is already running on the processor, want to try something else, any suggestions?
