Hello all, I have to design a PA for 2.4 to 2.5 GHz, and it is going to be a IC design, anyone knows a good site or a book which could be very useful for this purpose? Any kind of suggestions would be very helpful!

Hi

A lot of books tell about it

For example: Chapter 29 in "Trade-Offs in Analog Circuit Design"

Look the book: "RF CMOS POWER AMPLIFIER, Theory, design and Implementation"
by Mona M. Hella and Mohammed Ismail, I think I found the pdf version here.

for power amplifiers you MUST read and memorize the two steven cripps books on PA Design. once you understand those, then you can move on. only read the chapters that are relevant. thesis on PA are also helpful.

looking for Steve C.Cripps 's "RF PA for Wireless Communications" I think it's the best book for PA design.

actually i am also designing class F RF PA
BUT NOT MUCH LITERATURE IS AVAILABLE ON rf pa
U CAN USE rf power amplifiers by"albulet"
available at
**broken link removed**

for class F read papers and thesis

Hi,

Could you be a bit more specific on what kind of PA you are designing, i.e. in terms of class of operation, technology, and the specs you are targetting. I have personally design PA at 30 GHz and have a rteasonably good understanding of high speed designs.

who can give a link of "RF PA for Wireless Communications" and "RF CMOS POWER AMPLIFIER, Theory, design and Implementation", I can't find them, 3x.
