Dear All,
I am new to Signal Integraty Analysis. I know about the Importance of Signal Integraty Analysis. What are all the analysis to be done for High speed Signals in Signal Integraty Tool. We have Cadance SI Tool. Is there any procedure or methods to follow it . Any Study materials available for SI Analysis.

Thanks in Advance

Thanks & Regards,

Hi!
I don't expect any one tell about SI in india, but one good book is there,
Signal Integrity simplified by Eric Bogata is very good book just read

signal integrity indian book

I will suggest two more books

1. High Speed Digital Design: A Handbook of Black Magic - by Howard Johnson.
2. Signal Integrity for PCB Designer - by Vikas Shukla

You can go through some of the pages by looking into amazon and Look inside pages and get a feel of the book.

Dear All,
Thanks for your reply. I know about SI. Infact i have already gone through High speed digital design by black magic..They had given all the issues related to SI. But i don't know how to apply them practically in SI Tool i.e what analyis to be done in SI Tools ?Is there any procedure? from where to start? Is there any training available in india with practical explaination?

Thanks and Regards,
S.Sakthivel

Sakhivel,

in Cadence you have SigXplorer (or SigXp) too for SI analisys. If you use Allegro PCB with SI options you have nice add-in feature to design. SigXp is not a great stand-alone tool, but it is well integrated in Allegro
Try to have a look to Cadence documentation.
Regarding process, it depends which type of signal you are dealing with (e.g. LVDS, DDR) and how far you want to go.

In cadence how to measure Slew rate and can we generate worst case eye diagrams like in mentor Hyperlynx, If so let me know.
