Hello, i have built a 1D phased array with certain radiation pattern which is fed by passive
i want to create a 2D from my 1D phased array by connecting 9 such columns together so i will have a 2D pattern.
we need to steer my radiation pattern of the 1D array at most +-30 degrees.
so basicly i have and array of 9 elements.
but i was told that the grating lobe formula shown bellow is not enough, that in real life there are more considerations for
choosing the distance between 1D arrays?
What are they?
Thanks.
