Regarding UMTS Model Tuning
In my project for UMTS model tuning,
We performed CW measurements using the following:
Nemo outdoor 4 to collect RSSI, Omni antenna transmitting at 2127.5 MHz with 43 dBm
Now the customer asked us to validate the model using the following:
TEMS data collection 8.2.1 for live sites to pick up RSCP using Directive antennas (3 Sectors with mechanical and electrical tilt) transmitting at 2122.4 MHz
- My questions, is that logic to validate our model by receiving modulated signals transmitted from tilted directive antenna while our model was built depending on unmodulated signals transmitted from Omni antenna with zero tilt.
Another points,
- What are the rule of modifying the through clutter losses and clutter offsets values? When should I give it positive values and when should I give it negative values?
Also
For TEMS drive test,
- Could we use the mobile handset as a scanner instead of the common RF scanner?
- I tried to collect data in the Idle mode and I noticed that there's a difference between TEMS route "shown in TEMS Map window" and exported log file table "shown in MapInfo".......the difference is just a repeated data which cause nonsense, so why I got these repeated data? And how could I disable it?
Please advice
