For a simple Solar Charging Can i use only a diode in between the battery and solar panel? When the battery is fully charge will the current flow stop or do i need to cut it off my self?

Re: Charging Circuit

You can do it, you can connect a Schottky diode, but there is still the risk to overcharge the batteries.

Re: Charging Circuit

It is better to use a Solar Battery Charger. You can search the web for the circuit.

Regards

Re: Charging Circuit

voltage of sp of 12v is not 12v exactly , max it will upto 16v-18v ,so ther is danger of ovc of battery , so need , series or shunt soler charger ckt .
