qfn breadboard

Hi,,,

I fabricate a chip and its packaged on QFN, when I conduct my test, I used QFN adapter to insert the QFN chip in it , then insert the adapter on breadboard for testing. I use function generator to generate a square pulse as input to the chip, where I use Oscilloscope to monitor the output on the oscilloscope screen.

Is there any effect of probing cables of oscilloscope on the output signal from the IC which taken from desired pin on the breadboard? ( some capacitance)
Is it made any distortion to the output signals?

Thankx

qfn chip.

sure it is
the probe, cable, breadboard, socket, adpater, package... all are parasitics

the resulting distortion, is also decided by your circuit output
