Pure sine wave inverter topology selection

I want to design a pure sine wave inverter.
Input: 48 volt 150Ah battery
output: 230volt 50Hz pure sine wave
what topology should i select?
low frequency or high frequency?
what are the advantages and disadvantages?


LF: 48v>>Hbridge(spwm)>>lowfrequncy transformer>>230v sinewave.


HF: 48v>>push pull high frequency transformer>>rectification>>400DC>>Hbridge(spwm)>>filter>>230v sine wave
 

LF : Advantage
• Simple less component and electronic circuit
• Reliable than HF
• Low output noise
• High isolation
LF: Disadvantage
• More Power consumption than HF
• Bigger size



HF : Advantage
• High efficiency
• Small size
HF: Disadvantage
• Output noise more
• Bigger size
 
your LF solution is not actually possible in the manner you describe.
 

Why LF solution is not possible??
 

Also would like to know power requirements on the 50Hz output side ...

You cannot just put the primary of a 50hz transformer into a HF switching bridge, and get a sensible output from it like that.
 
On the output side normal appliances only. This is for home appliances such as cfl, tv, fan, etc. .
why do we want to know whats on the output? Does it make any difference in design?

If you could do it with a mains transformer there, then you could do it with a smaller ferrite transformer there too, and so you would , instead.

High frequency switching bridge out put should filter then you can connect to low frequency (50Hz) transformer (Step up 48V to 230V )
Or
You can use Push pull amplifier
50Hz signal source + Push pull amp + 50 Hz transformer
 

well for a start you would need to design it to have specific leakage inductance, and any mains transformer off the shelf that you get, may not have the good leakage injductor value you want, and besides that the winding resistance, but most of all, the core and eddy current losses would be horrendous at any decent switching frequency, because its iron.
