Hi,

I need some suggestion from you guys....

I managed to build myself a 12 tap adaptive filter in Simulink for my adaptive noise cancellation system....

I choose the 12 tap filter arbitrary after experimenting with multiple designs (I started from a 2 tap filter and later moved on to 12 tap coz performance seemed better) but my professor is keep on telling me that this is not acceptable I need to have a scientific reason behind it. Could someone tell me how do I compare my 2, 4, 5... 12tap filters and comment on their performance.

Also Since I am working in Simulink ... Could someone tell me how and which block should I use to measure the signal to noise ratio of my signals...

Please help
thx

is there anyone who could help me with at least Signal to noise ratio problem?
