high pass chebyshev

Hello everyone,

I want to design a chebyshev analog high pass filter in matlab. The passband of the filter should be attenuated overall by 4db, with -3db (in this case -7db) at 3500Hz. I compensated the circuit at wo = 2.4077e4 using inductor-resistor zobel circuit but my response at frequencies higher than the wo deviates from the ideal response. Allowed ripple is 1db and Order is 3. If anybody can suggest something useful, I will be grateful.

The blue response in the attached figure is ideal while red one is actual response.

Thanks!

shafiq ur rahman,
Can you send the schematic? Since you are using a Zobel, I assume that the filter is a passive L-C.
