Port inside the model

Hi, maybe I complicated my question in my previous post. Let me ask in a simply way:

How to excite the a dipole with a multimode exication? lump port doesn't allow me to set the mode.

Who has this experience, please help.

Wave ports can be either single or mult-mode. I'll let the on-line help explain the details to you. Or just spend some time with one of the Ansoft AE's.

I am asking how to set the waveport inside an object. usaully the hfss doesn't allow that. I find there is some explaination to solve this problem in a HFSS book, but it is comfusing and I haven't figured out how to do it.
