OrCad PSPICE problem
Hi all,
I am trying to simulate a circuit with an op-amp from OnSemi. On their website, they provided a model for this part (MC33701). This model is in .ckt format. Can anyone explain to me how to use this .ckt file in my design to simulate it?
I've tried several steps that I usually do when I have to import a model from supplier, but for some reason, this model, when I simulate it, I got the error saying "missing subcircuit name"...Maybe I am doing something wrong? Here is what I've done 1). In Model Editor, create a new library file (MyLib.lib)
2). Import that model into this MyLib.lib. Since this model is .ckt file, which doesn't show up. So I have to change it to all files *.* and then I can import the .ckt file..==Is this step valid?
3). Save the MyLib.lib and export it to Capture library (MyLib.olb).
4). In Capture, add MyLib.olb and edit the pins for that part (it doesn't show up with any pins..)
5). In PSPICE, add MyLib.lib for simulation.
6). Simulate --- Error...
Anything I am missing here?
