Hi all,

Need suggestion on;
1) What are the band are suitable for cell phone?
Can we have Wimax + GSM900 + GSM1800 + UMTS? or you guys have any suggestion?
2) What type of antenna are suitable? I plan to design internal antenna.

Thanks

Your suggestion are really really appreciate.

Thanks again

Planar Antennas for Wireless Communications book by Kin Lu Wong provides numerous designs for dual band antennas at the very least. He showed planar meandered monopoles. I haven't done it myself and reproduced it/adjusted it for other frequencies. But maybe it's a good reference.

I think a PIFA or monopole is good for your project.

Planar Monopole antenna /PIFA/FICA(Conformal inverted F antenna) are suitable for Mobile phone applications.

Refer Planar Antennas for Wireless communication by Kin-Lu-Wong
