on chip 7.5V voltage reference

Hi,

Is it possible to have a bandgap having a 7.5V voltage reference output? I can use an older process.. however, I am not sure if it can produce a higher voltage reference output. From my experience I only can produce upto 1.2V or lower. I was using a 0.18um process though.

You would want a noninverting op amp A=6, or you could
stack 6 diodes and a 6X-normal tempco resistor.
 

Search for Brokaw-Bandwith at Google-Schematics.

Set the feedback voltage ratio to you choice.

Thats all.
 

What about device reliability ? 7.5V for a 0.18um process looks
a little bit to high ... or do you use a high voltage process with
thicker oxids ???

You can use PMOS for the mirror at high voltage and series connection of PMOS for the output device. The bulk of the PMOS devices must be connected to poly resistors so that the total voltage is divided even.
