Hello Everyone.
I am doing Computer Engineering at Purdue Univ.
In the lab class for Digital System design course, we have to program PLD's (GAL16V8D , GAL20v18D, GAL22v10) using ABEL lanugage, to do an assignment.
We can use only 1 of each kind.

Experiment Description:
In this experiment, you will design and test a programmable digital combination lock.
the lock designed here will input a programmable binary sequence
(specified using a DIP switch). Further, the combination “data” (consisting of a pattern of 0’s
and 1’s) will be entered using a pair of pushbutton switches (which will also serve as clocking
signals).

The main thing I cannot implement is about the input of numbers from the to the PLD from the DIP switch. How will the PLD store the input?

Don't bother about this guys, if there is a mod please delete the thread.

Thanks
