Need help for RS-485 communication in Win-AVR

Assalam o alaikum

I ve been working on an industrial fyp in which i hv to communicate 14 burner controllers with plc via rs-485.To program each slave controller for burner controlling I ve tried mikroC pro for avr but failed starting the timers (due to some bug i guess because the TCNT1L didnt start--even in the timer example!!!). Therefore I switched to win-avr. Here I need support for rs-485 communication as win-avr lacks the built in library routine for rs-485.
