Hi All,

i have a pic16f887 which is generating a variable frequency via rs232 input. i am trying to drive an external circuit with it. the external circuit has a different power supply. aka the pic is battery powered the external circuit is connected to the main voltage. i am thinking on using a 2n222 to drive a air transformer to drive the base of the mosfet. can anyone help. i have never done this.

Timi,
