hello
I want to model the Li-ion battery, but I dont know start from where
please help me

Re: electrical circuit model for Li-ion battery

To make a crude simple simulation of a battery, start with a voltage source, then add a series capacitor. Set the voltage to the expected minimum. The capacitor might be a Farad or more, depending on how quickly you want the simulated battery to charge and discharge.

I want to design a complete model (with respect to state of charge, temprature and ....) that be like to real Li-ion battery

Re: electrical circuit model for Li-ion battery

IMHO "I want to" translates as "I should study literature". There are models for different aspects of battery behavior, e.g. frequency dependent impedance

Also models of the nonlinear charge/discharge characterictic.

excuse me my english isnt well
yes I should study the nonlinear charge/discharge
and effect of temprature on it

Re: electrical circuit model for Li-ion battery

If you are used to MATLAB/Simulink, here is a free course given by someone :)-D) at Mathworks page. It is free to download but it is addressed to teachers to give this course to students... so they have only PowerPoint presentations without much explanation.
Battery Sistems

questions about a simulink for Li-ion battery model

Hello
I study a paper about Li-ion battery model simulation
the proposed model for state of charge is like this:

and the description of it is:

now I have several questions, 1-what is 100 factor in Eq. 1 ? 2-why use block of power 2 and sqrt? 3-is it possible to define capacity look up table from the shape of block?

Re: questions about a simulink for Li-ion battery model

Is there any forum for simulink?

Re: questions about a simulink for Li-ion battery model

I told you on your other thread that this is for teachers.. not much explanation about it..

Re: questions about a simulink for Li-ion battery model

My question about matlab/simulink is for teachers!?
What do you mean?

You have asked about that "100". I mean that there is no much explanation about those equations and from where they come from.
2-why use block of power 2 and sqrt?
Yes, it does not have sense for me either.

3-is it possible to define capacity look up table from the shape of block?
Open the simulink model and see what is inside.

but this paper isnt Spurious
I have not the simulink model, I just have this paper
