I've got this very small module. There is an ARM cpu on it and some analog. I need an example project or step by step documentation to let this thing work.

If I connect UART RX/TX pins using a level converter like MAX232 to PC, does the standart GPS software using NMEA protocol work? SynTac etc...

Does this module firmware on it or do I've to download firmware on every booting from somewhere? If I've to download firmware to it, HOW?

I really need more clear info about this device.

Best Regards

You don't need to download firmware on it anymore. It has firmware on it.
You must force it to answer you with some message like @@Hb or @@Hn.
Now I wiork with its new version M12+timing and it is very easy to work.
