ModelSim Problem: Licensing error

the system date appears to have been set back

Hi all,

I have modified the date in my system once and again got back to the same date. From that time, my modelsim is not working on my system. When Iam trying to open it, it says, Licensing error, the system date appears to have been set back.

I tried by uninstalling the modelsim and installed it agin. Even then Iam getting the same problem.

What is going wrong here?

how to resolve modelsim set back date problem

It happened once for one of my friends, and the only thing that could be done was to re-install WXP and ModelSim.
So don't you have an image or a restoring checkpoint ?

try running the modelsim in the old date...which u set.....otherwise the only way is to format windows drive and reinstall..xp..

I had the same problem, and solve it by this way:

- Search all file in Windows dir and all sub-dir.
- Sort the result by date
- Delete all files that have a date in the future.

And then, my modelsim work again.

uninstall Modelsim
Then install Modelsim.

change your system date,it also works ok, i have met this problem, and your can search my post in this forum.
