Microwave 1+1 and 1:1

Hi
I am interested in 1+1 and 1:1 configuration in microwave i.e. their concepts, i have also saw that there are 1+3, 1+2 etc.... configurations and many so, can any one provide me with links, pdfs, sites related to this subject.

those are the systems used in microwave links they mean the redundancy schemes, i.e. the back up system like the ms-sp 1+1 scheme and so on they are mainly used in SDH.
