MC1377 RGB to composite encoder help

Hello, I have build this little RGB to composite encoder, to drive a TV from a microcontroller project that outputs RGB and HSync signals

The circuit seems to work but only a black and white image appears on the LCD TV.
Any ideas of what could the problem be?
