Looking for good free HDL simulator

I am learning hdl languages, can anybody suggest a good and a free simulator to start with. Thanks in advance

MyCAD has a VHDL simulator 'My Logic Station'.
Visit www.mycad.com.
After registering you can download the 13 days trail version.

thanks for the link, and can u suggest any simulator for verilog,, there are many out there, but which one would be better for a beginner

Hi orangelogic,

I have 2 suggestions:

1) You can use either Xilinx ISE webpack or Altera Quartus webpack to learn hdl language. It is free.

2) Else, you can use Icarus Verilog. It is a verilog simulator. You can check out these 2 links:
