what software optimized and suitable for linear antenna design and simulation?

MiniNEC
NEC Win

There are many front ends for NEC.
 

The MoM-based simulators are very well optimised for wire-antenna modeling.

Take a look on **broken link removed** product with easy to use GUI and very accurate and fast solution.
 

i recommend fecko, althogh fecko is good for reflector antenna, but it is also good for wire element
