I want to learn how to design an audio amplifier from zero. I searched a lot of books, and I found "Electronic Devices and Circuit Theory" by Robert Boylestad. Is it good? If that book is good enough, please tell me what book i must read after I read that book? Sorry, my english was terrible. Thank you.

Hi,

After you mastered the Boylestad knowledge, try the book of Sonthheimer, Designing Audio Circuits. It has very good explanation of designing audio ampps and the like. but its not available here

I suggest you this excellent site:

**broken link removed**

And these fundamental books:

High Power Audio Amplifier Construction Manual - G. Randy Slone

High Efficiency Audio Power Amplifiers - Ronam Van der Zee

Audio Power Amplifier Design Handbook - DOuglas Self

rkodira, soory... I want to ask about fundamental books that you recomended. Do you have e-book for that books? I relly need that book, but I hadn't enough money for buying that books (I saw at amazone). Please....

Hello

You can look here

H**ps://instruments.no-ip.org

On ebooks folder you have lot of manuals

Regards

Hi, You may search google or wikipedia for links related to sound or audio amp design.
You can also see to acoustic books or books like Malvino for a basic audio amplifier circuit.
That would be to start from scratch.

Fortunately you can find two books (Self and Zee and one extra: Duncan) that I recommended, in the e-books download/upload section of the Edaboard (try the free mirror links if you do not have points enough). Put "amplifier" in the search box.
