[SOLVED] l298 over heating problem

As an aside point: the 10K resistor in the base of the TIP transistor is probably too high a value, especially if the 5V feeds something else on the circuit.

thanks a lot .. the problem was that audioguru mention .. ground wire between l298 voltage and 5v .. in my last one pcb there is connection between two ground but in new one pcb the track was clear from protel pcb " I dont know why or how? " ..

i have very sensitive rf module in circuit ( i don't draw that in schematic ) and when i use one bridge rectifier instead of two bridge rectifier just like audioguru's schematic , when motor run the module doesn't work so i use two bridge rectifier ..
