hi bilaljaved,

different cell phone companies follow different protocols.
check if if nokia2700 has serial port then you can try Txd and Rxd of 8051 to interface and send commands

Nokia2700 must support Mbus/Fbus protocol interface with that you will succed...

i did'nt found 2700 but i found 2600 and it has only a charging and head set pins nothing else ,please tell me that caan i connect Nokia 2600 with those 6 points that are under the battery ????
thank you..............

because sir mobile phones are easily avialable here and every where so kindly sir can u give me more information related to my question i shall be very thank ful to u.

you need to get a phone that supports serial communication.... as i said different phones use different protocols,,

can you find out which phone can be interfaced using max232.. it will make your analysis better and easy.......

If the Nokia 2700 is unavailable, you can try one of the following, Nokia 6610, Nokia 6610i and, Ericsson T10.
I worked with these phones, they all have serial interface.
Another practical solution, as ckshivaram said, you can go for the GSM/GPRS modules or MODEMs.

Hope this helps.
