In many applications, we need to connect our ASIC with a processor. Usually, these two systems (ASIC and processor) are asynchronous. How do we design a interface circuit for these two systems ?

Hi,
If ur CPU and ASIC are having different buses (protocol)than u need to design a cpu bridge circuit which will handle data transfer from CPU to ASIC and vice versa ........ and also for transfering data between these two u required Asynchronous FIFO and Synchronizer..
Regards
