I want to design a simple O.S for my PC

hello friends I have a desktop PC and I want to run it on O.S. dsigned by me,,,can anyone help me with designing of an operating system for my PC?? I only want to access the data on my memory and the ports through my O.S.
Can anyone help
 

Buy a controller board like a pic, and make an os for it first. Then get an arm or other 32 micro board and make an os for it. Then try making an os for the desktop.

I would like to have some stuff that helps me with that.
 

An OS for a PC would be quite complex.
You could download the source code for Linux and study it to see what you need to do.
 

you can refer the ReactOS.It 's similar with Windows,small and open source
